ශ්රී ලංකාවේ බොහෝ ලේඛන ක්රම දක්නට ලැබෙන අතර ඒවායින් බහුතරයක් සිංහල, දෙමළ, තනා, අරාබි සහ චීන භාෂාවලින් සංයුක්ත වේ. මේ වසරේ අකුරුකොන් “බහුභාෂා ශ්රී ලංකාවක්” සහ එය වර්තමාන, අතීත සහ අනාගත තත්ත්වයන් පිළිබඳ සාකච්ඡාවක් ආරම්භ කරමින්, මෙම විධත්, ශ්රී ලාංකික ලේඛන ක්රමයන් සමරයි.
இலங்கையில் பல எழுத்துவடிவங்கள் தெருக்களில் காணப்படுகின்றன. அதனை உத்வேகமாக கொண்டு பல புது எழுத்துருக்கள் நடைமுறைக்கு வந்தன. அவற்றில் பெரும்பாலும் சிங்கள, தமிழ், தானா, அரபு, சீன எழுத்துரு வடிவங்கள் ஆகும். இந்த ஆண்டு அகுருகோன், இலங்கையின் பல்லின கலாச்சாரத்தையும் பல்வேறு சூழலின் பன்முகத்தன்மையைக் கொண்டாடுகிறது. மேலும் கடந்தகால, நிகழ்கால மற்றும் எதிர்கால அச்சுக்கலை புதுமைகளை “ஒரு பன்மொழி இலங்கை” என்ற தலைப்பில் ஒரு கலந்துரையாடலையும் உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.
